EVALUATION Q.1

On Friday 21st March while I am with the OCR, you will write the script for Evaluation question 1.
You will post it on your blog page under the tab 'Evaluation q.1' by the end of the day.

Evaluation question 1: In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?

How to write the script for Californication:
  •  Our treatment of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers track Californication combines narrative and performance. It opens with the narrative strand as a Chilli peppers fan listens to the track on his iPod, a conventional device of a 'screen within a screen', often used in music videos.
  • A matched edit follows with a female fan also watching on a screen, another example of intertextuality. Repeated motifs characterize music video form.
  • and so on....
  • you could use YouTube Comments, if you prefer, to present this evaluation question.
