In order to get the most out of this software, make sure you follow the steps below BEFORE watching the step-by-step tutorials:
i) Read a DPS Interview of inspiration in order to gather some understanding of the mode of address, language devices used and what types of Questions/Answers you need to include in the interview. The layout of the page and where certain conventions go is also critical to understand.
ii) Refer to your Contents & DPS analysis work completed during the Planning & Research (20 marks) phase – WWW/EBI
iii) Type your interview up in Microsoft Word – Proof read it – get someone else to proof read it as well!!!
  • Is it interesting?
  • Is it engaging?
  • Does it feel like an casual conversation?
iv) Refer to your Photography Plan – Take the pictures intended (if you haven’t already done so) – place them into Adobe Photoshop – Manipulate the image(s) to the required standard – Save the FINISHED document as a .JPEG ready to place into Adobe InDesign.
v) Download the required font styles (DaFont.com) you intend to use for the headlines, drop capital etc.
