PREZI

Last summer you learnt how to create a Prezi in order to present your research into the music video genre in a dynamic and inventive way.
See an example of my Prezi

WHAT SHOULD GO IN YOUR PREZI
It's an account of your research into the genre, such as the codes and conventions relating to music video.

You have studied a huge variety of music videos on TV, from the Director's Cut series and on YouTube. You have watched screenings of our past students' work and those from other centres.

In class you studied Andrew Goodwin Dancing in the Distraction Factory (1992) Routledge, so in one frame take the six points he makes about genre codes and give an example of each using a video that you have studied. Use a screenshot for each example.

In the next frame you could group your close textual analysis of a small number of different music videos. Use hyperlinks to YouTube and images. Aim to cover different genres (metal, girl band etc).

That's probably enough for one Prezi.
