COLLECTIVE IDENTITY AND WEB 2:0
Today we bring together theoretical frameworks about current trends concerning Web 2:0 (Henry Jenkins and Michael Wesch) and relate them to recent texts (such as the vlog Diary of a Badman) and contrast them with earlier texts (such as The Millionairess and The Indian Doctor). Broadly speaking, the lesson tackles how participatory culture impacts on identity formation and identity representation in the media.
